What can u use to record?

I wanna do a mixtape real easy way lol i planed on goen to my closet puting music on an rapping to my ipod audio memo recorder but it sounds bad :( i was gonna get it on my cumputer u know to burn it to a cd, anyyy ways what can i use to record that souds idk ok like not waw but hey it could pass by as a mixtape ill spend about 50 bux if i have too ps have an ipod hellllllp
